I offer on-site stress reduction workshops.
Workshop Options include:
1) A 1 session "Lunch and Learn" presentation focused on stress reduction or mindful self-care.
2) A 4 session relaxation training where participants "DO" relaxation including guided imagery, meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, diaphragmatic breathing, and body scanning.
3) An 8 session interactive and experiential training that includes stress reduction, relaxation, self-care, and an in-depth focus on mindfulness.
Principles taught are based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
These workshops are for everyone. They address those private struggles that none of like to talk about – sadness, grief, anxiety, stress, worry, loneliness, and feeling lost or restless. I teach in a way that focuses on living a life that is in line with your values – a life that is in line with the things you care the most about. Join me, and we can all be better people and work toward creating a more fulfulling, vital living!
I will travel to your place of employment, school, gym, church, or other organization. I focus my time in St. James and Ascension parishes (in Southern Louisiana), as there is great need in these underserved communities. However, when scheduling allows, I am happy to travel to other communities.
These classes can be presented in a variety of settings and can be adjusted to meet a facilities needs.
This is a way to broaden my reach in these small towns that need additional mental health services.
