Dr. Ledet grew up in Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. After completing a doctorate at the University of Tulsa, she moved to Memphis, TN for an internship at the Memphis VA Medical Center. She enjoyed working with veterans immensely and moved back to Louisiana to complete a fellowship at the Southeast LA Veterans Health Care System, where she specialized in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and serious mental illness including Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder. She was licensed to practice psychology in the State of Louisiana in 2011 and accepted a position focused solely on serious mental illness at the Southeast LA Hospital in Mandeville. Since October 2012, she has transitioned to private practice in an effort to provide quality mental health care to an area with limited mental health care services. She values getting to know the community and having the opportunity to provide needed services.

Meet the Therapy Dog: Bella Fiona
BELLA is officially RETIRED. She is 14 years old and currently enjoying a relaxed lifestyle of sunbathing, naps, and begging for treats! We miss her at the clinic, but wish her a fun retirement!
Bella Fiona is our animal-assisted therapy poodle. She and Dr. Ledet completed team training and passed a national examination qualifying them as an animal assisted therapy team by Pet Partners (a national animal therapy organization). She has prior experience at Southeast Louisiana Hospital, where she worked on a long-term, inpatient unit. She loved her job and was always eager to walk through the doors of the clinic. She was best known around the office for sprinkling love (and mischief) wherever she went!
